I know staying healthy, keeping fit and well can seem complicated and difficult to figure out where to start. Trust me when I say that reaching your physique goals, living a balanced lifestyle and taking good care of yourself doesn’t have to be hard or overwhelming. 1. REFLECT ON YOUR GOALS EACH DAY ?
Consider your long term goals and then decide how you want to feel and act each day. Break those big goals down into small behaviour goals that are easy to tick off, so you constantly feel like you’re making little wins. When you take control of your effort & your attitude, you can take control of your life!

2. PRIORITISE SLEEP ?
Our bodies do not function well under chronic stress. You could be smashing your workouts and sticking to your diet all you want, but if you’re constantly stressed, your body can’t respond and progress optimally. You need to make time for self-care, 7-9 hours of sleep per night, stress management and socialising.

3. STOP COMPARING YOURSELF ?‍♂️
When you’re trying to reach your OWN goals and create a better life for YOURSELF, comparing yourself to others can be a severe distraction and not forgetting completely toxic too, especially on social media. Worry less about what other people are doing and focus on YOU!

4. TASTE THE RAINBOW ?
When you start tracking what you eat, it’s easy to get obsessed with getting the macros or number of calories exactly right, but being obsessed with how many grams of spinach or mushrooms you’re eating isn’t healthy. Aim to consume a variety of veggies and fruits each day to help your body get all of the good stuff it needs. Different colour foods provide different nutrients and vitamins.

5. STOP SAYING YES TO EVERYTHING ????
Personally one of my biggest weaknesses is ‘FOMO’. Set boundaries and honour what you truly want now and in the future instead of just doing stuff because other people are/want you to. These boundaries are so important in helping you achieve you health and fitness goals!
